What is the best free stranger video chat site now that Omegle is gone?

Omegle shut down in November 2023, and sites that use its name are unrelated copies. Stranger video chat sites are 18+ and none are fully safe; bots, scams and explicit content are common on all of them. Among active ones, OmeTV, Emerald Chat and Chatroulette use moderation and reporting. We make no pick in this category.

Options

Good to know

  • Never show your face with anything that identifies you, like a school uniform, street sign or mail.
  • Anyone who asks you to move to another app, send photos, or pay is almost always a scammer. Sextortion scams start this way.
  • Not for anyone under 18.
